As an incentive (read: bribe) for Justin’s cousins to nail their ring bearer duties, Caroline plied them with vintage toy “ring pillows” she found on Etsy. It was perfect, she says, for the pair of “little country boy truck lovers.”
Setting up buffets throughout the grounds ensured guests mingled and got to see the stunning property in full.
Formal seating was arranged for half the guest tally because the couple opted for dining stations rather than a formally served meal. Lounges and cocktail tables made up the seating balance.
Roses, peonies, and viburnum berries sat atop table runners by the bride’s company, The Social Spool.
Simple ribbons adorned the cake.
“Trying on hundreds of dresses didn’t make choosing a dress any easier,” says bride Caroline, who ultimately picked a Liancarlo frock.
